These beautiful SECCO bags and trays have just arrived from Finland. Even better than the stylish look, these products are all made from recycled materials.

Take a look at the post about SECCO at Fabulously Green!

More about SECCO:

During the past 2-3 years SECCO has evolved from an idea to an energetic network of creative and skilled people. The business plan and the network have been developed based on SECCO’s most important guiding principle: sustainable development. SECCO was born from the need to link innovative designers, producers, material collectors and recyclers. The result is a growing international and professional network, that gives value to everyone involved. Since its foundation in 2003, SECCO Finland Ltd. functions as a platform between the different partners.

SECCO’s workshop was established in spring 2002 in Petäjävesi, where young professionals from the craft and industrial design field work. The workshop is like a laboratory, where materials and production methods are tested in various ways. It is an open ground for students and professionals to experiment with their ideas.

The production in SECCO’s workshop is small scale and handmade. Every stage of the production is carried out in the most sustainable way as possible from an ecological and quality point of view. Materials are aquired from various industries, waste collection and recycling companies, as well as, from producers specialised in material recycling.
