Marimekko Designs Team Finland Women’s Olympic Uniforms

Even though the 2008 Olympic Games are coming to an end, I wanted to bring up the fact that Marimekko is an official supplier of uniforms for the Finnish women’s Olympic team in Beijing. The uniforms are dresses made of the “Pisaroi” pattern are worn by the Finnish female athletes at formal events, such as the opening ceremony. Be sure to look for them again on Sunday at the closing ceremony.
Some of the items that Marimekko currently offers in the Marimekko Pisaroi pattern are an umbrella, mini-umbrella, and rain pancho.
